Jim joined Jostens in 1981 after teaching yearbook, social studies and leadership in California and Oregon. He worked with schools in the central Willamette Valley of Oregon from 1981 through 1990. In 1991 he moved to Leavenworth, WA where he continued with Jostens on a part-time basis while opening his own design firm, Koobraey Productions.From 1990 until 2000 Jim's firm designed all marketing materials for Leavenworth, Mission Ridge and various businesses in that area in addition to publishing a full-color magazine on Leavenworth from 1998 through 2000.Jim went back to full-time yearbook work in the Seattle area in 2000, is the workshop coordinator for Jostens in Washington and continues to dabble in graphic design.
Jim loves to travel. He and his wife Kathleen try to go someplace at least three times a year. Since meeting Kathleen in 1997 they have traveled to 20 states outside Washington and more than 20 foreign countries. You can see his travel and family pictures by clicking here.
